Psychological Evaluations

Psychological evaluations involve an intake as well as assessment to determine the psychological and/or emotional health of a person. Sometimes employers or educational institutions will request that an employee or student get an evaluation. Other times individuals will request an evaluation for themselves.

iHEAL offers this service and would be happy to help. After conducting the evaluation, which may take 1-3 sessions, a report will be created that provides an answer to the referral question. Additionally, you will learn about your evaluation results in a feedback session shortly after your evaluation is complete.

You may need a psychological evaluation to:

​

• return to work or school after an administrative leave

• get clearance to proceed with a medical intervention (i.e., bariatric surgery)

• obtain a second opinion about a psychological diagnosis
