Ifejola Ade-Ayeni, DNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Intern
Ifejola "Ife" Ade-Ayeni, ANP-BC, DNP is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Practitioners and currently licensed to practice in Maryland. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Linguistics from University of Ilorin, Nigeria before coming to the United States where she completed an associates degree in nursing at Borough of Manhattan Community College (New York). Her graduate degrees are both in nursing. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing at Stony Brook University (New York) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Alabama at Huntsville. Currently, she is pursuing a certificate as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at George Washington University.
While earning her degrees, Ife continued to work as a Physicians Assistant in primary care and substance abuse. She has over 20 years’ experience as a direct care provider in internal medicine, urgent care, and behavioral health.
Professionally, Ife enjoys working with patients and building a strong compassionate relationship using a multi-modality approach to help promote the quality of care for patients mentally and physically. In her personal time, she enjoys traveling and watching sports with her two sons. She also loves promoting wellness among diverse age groups in her religious community and mentoring young adults.
