Clinical Training

Masters-level Clinical Training

Our masters-level program offers clinical training to individuals enrolled in graduate programs in psychology, social work, counseling, and marriage and family therapy. We strive to help you connect the dots between academic training and the real world of mental health. Clinical experiences that you receive are based on your academic level and clinical development. You can expect to dedicate 12-16 hours/week to clinical training.

Our program accepts masters-level cohorts in the fall (August) and spring (January) semesters, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Our masters interns usually dedicate 12-16 hours per week to clinical training.

You will get exposure to many clinical experiences, including:

  • conducting individual, group, and family therapy; initial evaluations; and mental health screenings

  • planning for treatment and discharge

  • conceptualizing cases

  • planning and facilitating community workshops

Note that we do not offer clinical training that is 100% telehealth. Our training programs are all hybrid programs (i.e., telehealth and in-person).

Supervision

In terms of supervision and consultation, we provide the following opportunities, all aimed at increasing your clinical development:

  • One (1) hour of individual supervision (weekly)

  • Two (2) hours of supervisor-led group supervision (monthly)

  • Two (2) hours peer-led group consultation (monthly)

  • One (1) hour of case consultation (monthly)

  • One (1) hour of didactic training (monthly)
