Corey Ward, BS
Mr. Corey Ward is currently completing his Master of Science degree in the counseling psychology at the University of Baltimore. His research interests include attachment theory and how therapy impacts the brain.
Mr. Ward's clinical interests include racism as a stressor (specifically bias and discrimination), spirituality conflicts, trauma, personality disorders, invisibility syndrome, and benefits of culturally appropriate treatment. He works with children and adults in individual therapy. He particularly enjoys working with under-served populations.
He is a member of the Diversity Committee of the Maryland Psychological Association (MPA) and an associate member of the International Society of Schema Therapy.
For fun, he enjoys going out with family. Mr. Ward's counseling philosophy is, “Meet people where they are before you take them where they need to go.”
